Ding-dong! Time to load up the itsy-bitsy yellow polka-dot bikini and sling chairs into the caravan for last autumn’s Wonderful Woodlands has paved way for a fun British summer and seaside shenanigans! Let’s face it; a flash flood at Liat Towers is about the closest thing to a beach, but the elaborated décor of inflated carousel creatures and beach balls is fitting nonetheless. (Nearest location of floatation device during future flooding found!)

Quirky English habit of ‘Carry On Camping’ and the great British summer at the beach inspired the latest Mulberry spring collection. Think Blondie, seaside carnival and sparkling pier lights at night — all that oh-so English nostalgic fun infused with Mulberry’s eclectic charm. Like the previous season, expect a new twist to the Mulberry classic. The Bayswater and Lily bags got an updated new look with cookie-edge detailing on the edges. Last season’s Roald Dahl’s ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ inspired piece was replaced with teddy rivets — bear-y cute indeed!

It’s no doubt Mulberry’s local press presentation gets increasingly exciting with each season and it’s one of the very few happenings that we look forward to working as a blogger. It might just be cookies and cupcakes for us this season, maybe we’ll have the Dalai Lana herself to perform next?
